UNICEF youth goodwill ambassador: Sonam Wangchen

Coinciding with the World Children’s Day, UNICEF announced Sonam Wangchen as Bhutan’s first national youth goodwill ambassador today. The 16-year-old singer and musician Sonam Wangchen will use his popularity and digital presence to engage with young people and empower them to speak about the issues facing them.
