October 4th Duck Hunt Morning and Afternoon field hunt

Got to hard frozen field in the morning and birds had fed at night and were on the roost and didn't start coming back to the field until after 2pm.Went to work and came back in afternoon. Problem was farmer started combining the flooded wheat field we were in,and birds all moved to other end of field. I picked up a spinner and walked in the mud (20 lbs per boot) to other end of field, stuck single spinner in ground and laid down about 25 yds away behind a canola swath. 1 spinning decoy. Lots of ducks. 7th bird was a weird one. Hit with magic pellet at about 50+ yds. Found in in a high wheel track! Bonus. KENT Silversteel shells are doing their job. Recoil is very manageable.
