You can now add Elementor templates to Gutenberg-designed posts and pages using the Elementor Blocks for Gutenberg plugin (repository link: https://wordpress.org/plugins/block-builder/ ). According to Ben Pines of Elementor, this functionality will be added to the core Elementor plugin (free version) when WordPress 5 (Gutenberg) is released.
