The Malaysian artist, who now records as The Venopian Solitude, was never allowed piano lessons, but whether on her father’s Samsung phone, a toy xylophone, a toilet roll, or that hidden ukulele, she always found ways to make music. The first Malaysian musician ever to join the Red Bull Music Academy, Takahara is as prolific as she is unconventional.
