Please note other big cities in Korea like Busan and Daegu (which uses its own transportation card) have their own subway routes, which you can also access on the subway app. If you can navigate the Seoul subway, you'll be able to navigate the other cities' subways too. To be completely honest, public transportation, especially the subway, was one of my biggest fears upon first arriving in Korea. I drove everywhere back in California so this was something new to me.
