Gwenpool is one of my favorite characters in Marvel Contest of Champions so it was an easy decision to do my next player guide on this fun and playful character. This guide is for newcomers to the game or perhaps people that are not familiar with Gwenpool Of course it can also be used for those that just need a reminder on how she works. I like to call Gwenpool my little Bleed Machine because all of her regular attacks have a chance to bleed the opponent. Also, buffs from her special attacks such as enervate, incinerate and armor break can all be extended if the opponent has a bleed debuff active.
For example, if your armor break is just about to expire and you still have a bleed debuff on the enemy the armor break debuff will consume the bleed and the armor break will be applied once again. Opponents that can bleed you really can stop your debuffs from expiring. Enervate is also a very useful ability as the opponent can't gain power from your hits. It lasts only 6 seconds but once again if you have bleeds on the opponent you can keep on applying the debuff preventing the enemy from gaining power the whole fight if played correctly.
One thing I forgot to mention in the video is if the opponent is not bleeding on the last strike of a heavy attack you have a 5% chance to inflict a bleed. If the opponent is already bleeding and you attack with a heavy one of your existing bleeds can be converted into a longer bleed that causes damage over 27 seconds. This can also help keeping your bleeds up if you need to consume one for a future debuff reapply.
