Ryan Walsh reads from and discusses his new book "Astral Weeks: A Secret History of 1968" featuring the famous and the forgotten: Van Morrison, folkie-turned-cult-leader Mel Lyman, Timothy Leary, James Brown, and many more. "Astral Weeks" is lauded as one of the greatest albums in the rock'n'roll canon, but its origins are shrouded in mystery. 50 years later, Ryan explores the tumultuous times and creative, colorful characters that formed the backdrop for Van Morrison writing it.
