Graduate Ceremony: May 24
The graduate commencement ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. Candidates for doctoral and master’s degrees, certificates of advanced graduate study (CAGS and EDS), and post-master’s certificates will be invited to participate in this program with the chancellor, deans, faculty and honorary degree recipients. Each graduate will be given 5 guest tickets. Students do not need tickets; their name card serves as entry to the venue. Students may submit a request for extra tickets using this link. Extra tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis and are not guaranteed.
This ceremony will take place at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion, 290 Northern Ave, Boston MA.
Arrival Time and Ceremony Schedule for Graduates
1:30 p.m.: Students should arrive at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion for check-in and lineup. Be sure to bring your preprinted name card. Hold onto it; you will need it during the ceremony. Have your cap, gown, hood, and tassel with you, and give your tickets to your guests prior to entering the venue.
2:30 p.m.: The academic procession begins.
3:00 p.m.: The ceremony begins.
At the ceremony, all degrees will be conferred, and all students will have their name read and receive a diploma cover. Please return to your seat after your name is called. Diploma covers will be distributed at the ceremony and actual diplomas will be mailed at a later date to the address on file with the Office of the Registrar.
5:30 p.m. (approximately): The ceremony ends.
