In August 2016, a Reddit user known as FatNDepressed received a series of alarming smart home notifications. Over the course of three days, his Vivint security system alerted him to a visitor standing outside his home in the dead of night. Upon checking the final notification, he discovered a horrifying image of a pale, grinning figure with darkened eyes staring directly into the camera.
The unsettling footage captured inside a Chicago residence is also fully explored in this video. During July 2016, Jordan Buranskas and her boyfriend Jack Mackercher reviewed their living room security cameras to locate a missing purse. They instead uncovered footage of a hooded intruder standing silently at the top of their stairs, watching them sleep on the couch for extended periods while the television played.
Manhattan resident Joe Cummings set up a hidden surveillance system in 2009 after noticing his groceries were mysteriously disappearing. The resulting video revealed an unknown woman emerging from a small crawl space near the kitchen ceiling. She would stealthily climb down to consume his food and use his sink while he slept completely unaware in the adjacent room.
New York illustrator Adam Ellis began documenting a deeply disturbing series of events inside his apartment in August 2017. After experiencing vivid sleep paralysis involving a boy with a misshapen head, his cats began staring intently at the front door at exactly midnight. He eventually captured terrifying photographs of the anomalous figure standing over his bed while he rested.
In October 2017, Rechelle Haigh of Manchester captured security footage of a white van driver attempting to lure her children away from their garden trampoline. Meanwhile, Breanna Hernandez and her husband reviewed their own property cameras in August 2017 to find a glowing white figure skipping across their driveway. Finally, the owner of a South Yorkshire antiques store in Barnsley recorded dozens of unexplainable occurrences, including a heavy rocking horse moving entirely on its own.
