Today I use a rather unconventional method to refill a CO2 welding gas canister: dry ice (solid CO2). Please keep in mind that this is only an experiment to demonstrate principles of sublimation and gas storage. It is NOT an approved method to refill gas cylinders. You should consult a professional for cylinder refill, and always assure that your gas cylinder has been certified recently and meets the requirements for the gas you are using.
