Guide to installing a USB dash camera wired into the car with properly concealed cabling, no permanent modifications to the factory electrics, and auto power on/off with the ignition switch.
This video covers a single-circuit install with a 5 volt USB power adapter, as USB-powered dash cams don't have a way of implementing a proper parking mode that would necessitate a bit more wiring. You can obviously do the wiring any way you like. The way shown uses a fuse tap and a hardwired USB power supply. You will need:
* USB dash cam, see above
* USB cable, length to suit
* 24 or 12 volt adapter for USB, featured is a dual socket unit with cable terminating in an SAE plug. Amazon links ~

* Additional fuse to suit, 5 amps is about right
* Other wiring and crimps or solder as required
* Voltmeter
* Tools to get behind trim. Socket or spanner to work nuts/bolts for ground terminal.
