We got some greats shots with the drone while in Singapore and more specifically at the amazing hotel Marina Bay Sands. Have you been to Singapore?
What comes to your mind immediately, when you think of Singapore - the “Lion City?” A small yet successful First World nation? A major trading hub in South-East Asia? How about a melting pot of cultures, infused with a diverse set of cuisines? Or shopping at the trendiest outlets? Perhaps you appreciate its cutting-edge architecture or its well-preserved nature; after all, it is the greenest country in Asia.
The Little Red Dot really has it all. Travelers and locals can feast their eyes on how far Singapore has come from when they see what the nation looks like from above.
As of today, Marina Bay Sands is the sixth-largest hotel in Asia and the 34th in the world. This infamous, integrated hotel and entertainment resort is situated along the city’s waterfront and boasts the most spectacular views of Singapore from the 57th floor. Open to the public, the SkyPark features an observation deck, three restaurant/clubs and beautiful gardens. From the observation deck, you can easily spot the Central Business District and some landmarks, like the Singapore Flyer. By day, the observation deck is the ideal spot to see the city from above.
Marina Bay Sands also features the world’s largest elevated infinity pool that is exclusively (and unfortunately) open only to its hotel guests (unless you are cheeky and flirtatious enough to swoon the security guards, or you “stumbled upon” the access card). The allowance of guests to the infinity pool has become stricter as the security personnel have actually caught hotel guests passing the access cards to their friends.
I am so grateful to be able to travel anywhere at anytime while making sure I have an income and have the freedom to travel carefree. I literally do think that I have the best work in the world. All I need is a computer and an internet connection and a few hours a day. It is worth it!
