We had gone from A Crack In Time's fantastic animation and visuals to a more "basic" looking Ratchet & Clank game. According to Insomniac Games, they were trying to experiment with the series, taking it to new routes. Ratchet & Clank Full Frontal Assault and All 4 One, Although they were fun to play, they just didn't feel like the usual type of R&C game.
