LA Greek Fest, 2017 ~ Outstanding Zeibekiko Performance by Dimitri!!

 

NO COPYRIGHT OF MUSIC INTENDED!! Outstanding Zeibekiko dancing by Dimitri; (Greek: Ζεϊμπέκικο) is a Greek folk dance, the dance is of free choreographic structure. Saint Sophia Cathedral sponsored their 19th Annual L.A. Greek Festival in Los Angeles, California on October 6, 7 & 8, 2017. This annual festival is a much-anticipated tradition in the community!! Outstanding Entertainment was provided by Takis Kokotas S. on Vocals, Alekos G. on Bouzouki, Dimitri P. on Organ and Thanasi M. on Drums, also Peter L. ~ exceptional DJ during breaks of the band!! Additionally, Fr. John B. joined the band singing on various occasions, special outstanding singing guest: Korinna K.! OMG the Kefi (Spirit of Joy) was incredible, the dancing and people were awesome and the Greek gourmet Foods and pastries were Delicious!! The Taverna (Spirits Booth) with various Spirits was super. The church performances by various groups were also outstanding, additional Special Performance by Dimitri dancing Zeibekiko was incredibly Awesome! Took the opportunity to visit St. Sophia Cathedral and capture photos of this magnificent architecture of the church!! All volunteer church parishioners were very pleasant and helpful.
