California Gold provides an opportunity for all levels of ice skaters to participate in the fastest growing discipline of figure skating – synchronized skating. This exciting and beautiful sport has been an emerging discipline within the United States and International skating communities throughout the past decade.
We train in Southern California at East West Ice Palace in Artesia as well as other ice rinks in the area. Our teams compete at several levels, ranging from development to the most competitive levels in the sport.
Our highest competitive level (Senior) has earned the honor of representing the United States in International competitions as Team USA and has placed consistently in the Top 4 in the nation over the past several years. Our success and support has attracted skaters from across the United States as well as Finland, Switzerland, and Japan. These athletes have relocated to Southern California to attend one of our many quality universities. This not only allows skaters to advance their education but also to pursue their dreams on ice. Participants in our lower level teams (Juvenile, Intermediate and Novice) have also experienced success at regional competitions and have competed on the national stage.
California Gold is affiliated with the All Year Figure Skating Club in Culver City, California and is a Section 509 (a) 2 public charity devoted to providing sports and development opportunities to young people.
