I’m hitting my Wednesday goal just barely tonight… but I think this DIY’s awesome! Just a few more notes that I didn’t get to say:
I’ve been using a loofah for a long time now, mainly because I love how easily they lather. TBH, I had never even thought about how they could benefit us from being exfoliators, but that’s awesome too. However, I’ve been doing a little research on dishwashing sponges lately, and then I thought about my loofah… They are both similar in the ways that they can grow bad bacteria and risk molding from retaining moisture.
Another “ah-ha!” thing for me was that the loofah’s trap our dead skin cells, which… is sort of gross if you don’t wash them; in fact, most people say to wash them ever y 1-2 months! Unfortunately, I can’t say I’ve done that… so there’s a little background on why I made this video. I also think loofah plastic adds up (considering how many people use them), so yay for being eco-conscious. ;)
