*Disclaimer*
Originally this video was going to be a comparison video between the original and innovative unnamed manufacturer of this frame, and this RealAcc clone. I was going to compare the two frames side by side to show the differences in build quality, materials, price, hardware, fit and finish, and why you should support the original inventors and manufacturers of this frame, while discussing the possible negative impacts that cloned parts bring to the hobby industry and it's innovators, but now I will not. Long story short I approached the original manufacturers of this frame (Company and model name omitted) on their FaceBook page, I let them know who I was, including the details and intentions I mentioned above with a link to my YouTube page, and what I was willing to offer up for my review process, and was met with rude replies, accusations and assumptions from the company and one of it's fanboy minions stating that I was trying to get free merchandise while promoting clones, when all I wanted was a break on the flat rate worldwide $30 dollar shipping cost to perform a review while promoting their product. In the end I removed myself from the FaceBook drama session, and have been left with a bad impression of the company and the way it treats prospective and possibly current customers since they encourage, condone, and participate in the above mentioned online abuse, which I feel represents and reflects poorly on the hobby as a whole.
So here is the review I was left with, and even though I still don't condone the cloning of original ideas, intellectual property or parts, I'll make an exception for this RealAcc Carbon Star frame after the way I was treated by the unnamed OEM in a public forum, especially one with such a steep and flat rate shipping cost and unprofessional business conduct.
