MTA New York City Subway : R179 Test Train 3050-3057 Testing Along The C Line @ 103rd Street

 

This was taken last Thursday. Seen here is the 8-car test train of R179s testing along the C line arriving & departing from 103rd Street Station. The lighting in the station and the cars kinda screwed with the brightness of the video, since these cars are significantly bright. Not sure what kind of tests they are running now, but its pretty neat to finally see this in person. I like some of the small things about this train, such as the door chime and the doors themselves.
