Air itam Dam is Penang's magnificent hiking and running spot. Its a 25 mins hike from the Kek lok si Temple and there is a lush green running track that encircles the whole reservoir, around 3 kms. This dam was build in 1962 and is 700 feet above sea level. View from the dam are Majestic, we can see Penang's highest building Komtar and the sea from Air Hitam Dam.
