This Buru Bonga Pata ( Pahar Puja ) is held on the third Saturday of​ Bengali Asad month every year. The fair is placed at the boarder of Bengal and Jharkhand ,Kanaissar Hill , near Jaynagar , Jharkhand and about 9 Km far away from Silda Town , West Bengal. The main attraction of the Pata / fair is hill climbing and worship the Buru Bonga ( Deity of the hill) . Besides Traditional dance ( Santali Pata Anech) is held with great pomp . A large number of people come from Bengal and Jharkhand to enjoy the Buru Bonga Pata ( Pahar Puja).
