LMS 46233 Volcanic display over the S&C on the CME 22/7/17

 

LMS 46233 The Duchess of Sutherland was the motive power for latest Railway Touring Company's railtour the Cumbrian Mountain Express . 46233 took the train from Liverpool Lime street to Carlisle via the Settle and Carlisle line and is seen at Helwith bridge with Volcano like exhaust from the foot crossing wall and a side on view higher up to my right . The return sees 46233 storming towards Shap summit at Little Strickland. A big thanks to my mate Nigel for the lift this morning . Apologies for the second shot as the anti shake feature in my editing suite wobbled the picture even though it was not windy .
