Kil'jaeden is the final boss in the new Tomb of Sargeras raid released in Legion Patch 7.2! This Heroic Kil'jaeden Guide/Normal Kil'jaeden Guide for ToS walks you through the Heroic and Normal difficulty Kil'jaeden fight in Tomb of Sargeras. Mythic difficulty Tomb of Sargeras , and will have additional Mythic-only mechanics not shown here. LFR Kil'jaeden releases on August 8th so isn't out yet. It's safe to assume that LFR Kil'jaeden in Tomb will feature tuned down mechanics and potentially some of the tougher ones might be cut.
Kil'jaeden in Tomb is a long fight with three phases and two intermissions separating them. You fight on a platform and have to deal with knockback mechanics such as Rupturing Singularity that threaten to dump you away from the Kil'jaeden boss fight and into the abyss. On their own, none of Kil'jaedens mechanics are especially difficult but it's the nasty ways they combine throughout a long, drawn out fight that make him hard. You have to do Armageddon right the first time, but also the second, third, fifth and during Bursting Dreadflames, Focused Dreadflames, Rupturing Singularities, Echoes and more.
Kil'jaeden is such a thorny fight on Heroic that my guild actually hasn't quite killed him yet. If you watch this Heroic Kil'jaeden / Normal Kil'jaeden guide closely you'll see that I don't have any clips of the Flaming Orb from Heroic Phase Three being kited correctly. We'll have to work on that if we're going to down Heroic Kil'jaeden soon!
