Are you a fan of oysters?Today I will show you how to shuck an oyster at home so you can enjoy it when you want.
It' quick and easy with just a bit of practice.
If you love oysters but find them to expensive when eating out, buying some to enjoy at home is a much cheaper alternative. And ther are so many types to try. This one in the video is a Lucky Lime.

You will need a towel and an oyster shucker knife. Find the hinge at the narrow end, wiggle in the knife until you hear a pop. Then gently twist the knife to start lifting the top shell....but not too much.
Remember the oyster is attached on the top and bottom of the shell. Run your knife flush against the top of the shell to detach the oyster. Remove the top part and try to not spill anoy of the juice. Then run your knife on the bottom of the shell to detahc underneath. There you go, your oyster ir ready to enjoy!
