How did the ALIEN EGG get on the SULACO?

Many fans were majorly disappointed with Alien 3. This was mainly due to the killing of Newt and Hicks right at the beginning of the movie, but there were other major plotholes. One of these was the mysterious alien egg on the Sulaco. We see it right at the beginning of the movie, underneath the flooring. This egg apparently releases two facehuggers, a regular one and also a super facehugger, also known as the queen facehugger. The queen facehugger manages to somehow gain access to Ripley’s cryo sleep pod, and impregnate her..and then magically vanish from the nearby area. The regular facehugger hitches a ride in the emergency pod, which is jettisoned to fury 161, a planet containing a supermax prison full of cockneys…
