Allotment Days #39 First Carrots , Leeks in and GWL 2017

Hi everyone The carrots in the big raised bed are big enough to start and pull now...they're long slender and sweet! The leeks went in too at the weekend and it's time to do some thinking and pruning with the tomatoes. It's two weeks ago now since the Gardeners World Live 50th Anniversary show and I've included a collage of pics to show how things looked. There are a few familiar faces you may notice...and they're nice and down to earth folks...just as they are in their YouTube channels. Hope you enjoy the pics and don't be put off by that lion! 😆👍
