UP Steam locomotive 844 traveled from Cheyenne WY to Omaha, NE for the 2017 College World Series today. It is parked on what is called Home Plate next to the Ameritrade Stadium. It will be on public display along with a AC45C (AC44 Gevo) and some heritage passenger cars. The UP brings something special every year during the series, this is the first time 844 has been back after a major overhaul and rebuild was recently completed.
