Ingredients 2-3 tomatoes finely chopped 2-3 green chillies slit/ chopped ginger chopped finely 2-3 tablespoon lime juice 2 tablespoon boiled and mashed moong dhall fresh curry leaves fresh corriander leaves 1/2 tsp haldi/manjal/turmeric pinch of asafoetida 1 tsp mustard 1 tsp ghee salt to taste Method Add choppe tomatoes,curry leaves,ginger and chillies with 2 cups of water ,haldi and salt boil until the tomatoes are soft and cooked. add the mashed & boiled moong dhall ,1/2 cup water boil for 3-4 mins prepare the tempering of mustard in ghee with aafoetida/hing add it to the rasam ,mix the lime juice and garnish with fresh corriander. serve hot with rice and ghee.
