The four part mini event called "The Button" has promised some revelations in regards to the situation surrounding DC Rebirth and Flash #22 is the final chapter in that story. With Reverse Flash declaring that he "saw god" you know it has to be something special and with this book you definitely get what you are looking for. Since it was delayed a week, we also pickup Batman #23, which is a one shot issue from Tom King and Mitch Gerads that has Batman and Swamp Thing teaming up. This has been confirmed on Twitter for months but we finally get to see it on the page and it doesn't disappoint.
The other large event going on right now is Secret Empire and with Secret Empire #2 dropping, we get to see the results of Hydra's handiwork in Las Vegas. Captain America, the Supreme Ruler of Hydra is showing some chinks in the armor as he copes with what has been done, while the heroes sift through the rubble. Overall I like where the event is going, but it still needs to do some work if it is going to really capture an already disillusioned Marvel fanbase.
We also have indie standouts in 4 Kids Walk Into A Bank #4, that continues the long drawn out story and God Country #5, which is still a strong book about what a man will do to take back his life.
