Here's another classic example of a complicated design having to be tuned within Spore. I had several different approaches and ideas for specific details parts, but unfortunately they all ate up complexity quickly, especially the trademark spikes along the back, which I couldn't really afford to "dial down" since it would ruin the aesthetic. I had to try and get creative and basically capture the overall image (and proportions!) and making it acceptable enough, despite lacking a few important details, like the distinctive red/orange markings. I tried to make this look good within Spore, I hope I was successful :)
I'm starting to feel like I'm going to need a Godzilla-Franchise Montage soon...
