This game... this god damn game...
Let me explain to you why getting a basic clear in SSS should be the easiest thing in the world. Firstly, your hitbox is exactly 1 pixel. This makes many dense patterns in the game actually possible to capture, which you will need because the pattern density is absurdly high. Your deathbomb timer is also very long, usually enough for you to reactively do so. Koishi also exists in this game, who not only has a shield that feels more powerful than Reisen's LoLK shield, but has a powerful unfocus shot that trivializes stages and also instantly deletes certain boss attacks. Borders in this game are also pretty powerful too, particularly green ones.
And yet... this game still destroyed me. It's just frightening how so many things are trying to overwhelm you at once with this game's pattern density. Despite the game's overabundance of bombs and border potential, I felt like I needed them in order to even clear. Four gameovers at Tensei and numerous restarts over the silliest things really didn't help much matters.
I really want to enjoy this game, but I just can't. I despise it and most of the game's patterns. They try too hard to scare and subsequently kill you. Plenty of the patterns in the game aren't even fun to dodge (I'm looking at you, Rakuki's first spell, Seiryuu's third spell, Tensei's non-spells, etc.). I'm likely not going to go for any serious goals in this game after this, I think.
