Today i'm going to be comparing a few different crochet hooks that you can use to tighten up dreadlocks. Personally I like small needles with a decent size hook. The crochet needles with small hooks are really hard to grab the hair to pull it through. The crochet hooks with thicker needles are really hard to push in and out of your dreadlocks. Especially if your dreadlocks are more mature.
The crochet hook I like using is the best of both worlds. It's still a nice and skinny crochet needle but with a 1.5mm hook it grabs hair with ease. I love it.
