Fielding a team with no seniors, four juniors, and eight underclassmen, the youthful Chestnut Hill College men's basketball team experienced a season of highs and lows that was highlighted by the program's first victory over a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I opponent (W, 76-73 @ Coppin State University, 11/28). The Griffins were led by a pair of juniors – forward Chris Evans (Norristown, Pa.), and guard Demetrius Isaac (Philadelphia, Pa.) – who led the team in scoring, averaging 12.8 and 12.0 points-per-game (PPG), respectively.
