6 days of highlights from various parts of the island. We hiked a lot and jumped in several pools fed by waterfalls. We were pretty warn out after it all. Jamison chose to go to Kauai for his senior high school trip. His dad Jordan told him that he could go where ever he wanted as long as they had enough airline miles. The Ultimate Kauai Guide Book, Kauai Revealed. Here are the places in order of appearance after the helicopter scenes: Wailua falls, Poipu shorline sandstone hike/Makewehi lithified cliffs, "Snuba" diving at Lawai beach. Then is the canyon trail to Waipo'o falls and next is Polihale beach where we camped overnight (FYI we camped at Anini beach park two other nights, stayed 2 nights at an AirB&B and once night at the Koloa Landing Resort which was AWESOME and we used Marriott points from a free credit card sign up bonus for that). The next shot is from the Pu'u o Kila lookout then another lookout that I believe was un-named. Our favorite day of the trip was shown next as we took a very rough dirt road to the "jungle hike" followed by Ho'opi'i falls and finally Hanalei bay (incredibly beautiful beach and it's a good place for a beginner to surf). By the way you need at least an SUV, better yet a jeep to get to some of these places like the jungle hike. There was some damage done to the bottom of our SUV on that road.
Kauai is an AWESOME island...can't recommend it enough.
