Drone view: Genesee Brewery tanks float through Fairport and Pittsford NY on the Erie Canal

On May 30, 2017, the first three of twelve large beer fermentation tanks entered Monroe County via the Erie Canal, en route to the Genesee Brewery in Rochester NY. The twelve tanks, each of which is capable of holding 2,000 barrels of beer - the equivalent of 27,560 cases or approximately 661,440 12 ounce servings, are in the process of completing a six day 225-mile trip down the Erie Canal. This aerial video captures the first three tanks passing through the village of Fairport NY under the Main St. lift bridge, and continuing onto canal lock 32 in Pittsford NY.
