On May 8, 2017, Myself Christian Mackin and my daughter Lauren Mackin set out to climb the highest mountain in the lower 48 states during a year with a 250% snow pack. We encountered very good weather during our climb. The only challenge was the warm conditions in the afternoon that softened the snow and required us to post hole in waist deep snow.
