Czech President Milos Zeman on Friday arrived in Beijing to attend the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. Speaking in an interview in the Czech capital of Prague on Monday, Zeman hailed the Belt and Road Initiative and repeatedly expressed his hope for forging more connections with China during his upcoming trip for the forum. The Belt and Road Forum, scheduled for May 14 to 15, will be the highest-profile international meeting under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative since it was launched by Chinese President Xi Jinping over three years ago. The forum will draw altogether 29 heads of state and government leaders. The Belt and Road Initiative, also known as the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road, aims to build a trade and infrastructure network connecting Asia with Europe and Africa through the ancient trading routes, bringing beneficial outcomes to every country it reaches. http://www.cctvplus.com/news/20170512/8050245.shtml#!language=1 Subscribe us on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/c/CCTVPlus CCTV+ official website: http://www.cctvplus.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/cctv-news-content Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NewsContent.CCTVPLUS Twitter: https://twitter.com/CCTV_Plus
