We visited DLF Mall of India at Noida to check out the work CleanMotion is doing.
We met Mr Anil Arora - Country Head India of CleanMotion a Swedish company launching stylish e-Autos in NCR area and eventually have plans to take them pan India.
Their product Zbee is an energy efficient electric vehicle for short distance transportation of up to three people and smaller goods. It looks great at the mall. CleanMotion India have started operations between malls and metro stations. And it was fun interacting with Mr Anil, who is selling these e-Autos in places like Raipur, Rajasthan etc. The ZeeBee is currently imported from Sweden and it costs Rs 6-7 Lakhs and is extremely overpowered for Indian conditions with a 4kw motor and a large battery pack. Mr Anil and his team are working on a Indianized e-Auto which will look similar to the ones we see now and will cost around Rs 3.5 Lakh.
