#netzwende. Trump is the best that could ever happen to journalism - because it is a wake-up call that has long been overdue. Considering this potential, VOCER takes the opportunity of hosting a panel discussion about the fallout of the US election: fake news, hate speech, non-profit newsrooms, atomization of the public, media populism, social bots, organic journalism. Each speaker has five minutes to enlighten the attendees about her/his idea of the #netzwende - a fundamental change of the relevance, production, distribution and funding of journalistic content. The goal of this session is to bring together forward-thinkers and digital pioneers in order to discuss creative ideas and stimuli on how to shape the near future of our profession. Organised in association with VOCER. Con: Guia Baggi (co-founder IRPI), Frederik Fischer (chief editor Piq.de), Jeff Jarvis (Graduate School of Journalism CUNY), Adam Thomas (director European Journalism Centre), Lina Timm (founder and program manager Media Lab Bayern), Claire Wardle (First Draft News), Stephan Weichert (Hamburg Media School ), Stephan Weichert
