Prime Time today asks whether the recent suspension of premium H1B visas for skilled workers by the U.S Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for a period of six months should be a reason for worry for Indian IT firms. Should students from India who aspire to work or settle in the United States look out for other career options given the Trump administration's plans to make companies cut down on hiring from other countries? Shivendra Singh, Vice President and Head - Global Trade Development at NASSCOM says that this is only a routine suspension done to clear out the backlog of applications.
