In this video, I show you how to fully exploit a stock Sony Playstation Vita ( PS VITA) using the online HENkaku hack so that you're able to backup (dump and decrypt, using Vitamin 2.0) your own Vita games to your memory card, transfer them to your computer using USB/FTP, as well as play your backup games directly from your memory card without the need for your cartridge. With this method, you can also run other homebrew, most of which allows you to emulate older systems (NES, snes, Sega Genesis, etc), but also other tools, offline exploits, etc. Requirements to follow along with this tutorial are as follows: • A Sony Playstation Vita on a firmware that's ON or BELOW Sony's official version 3.60, nothing higher. • An Internet Connection ( Once ) • A Windows PC • Sony PS VITA to USB Cable • PS Vita Memory Card (4GB or higher, although at least 8GB is recommended) Software Needed ( You can easily Google these): • Windows (should be pre-installed on your computer) • QCMA (latest version) • Official Sony Firmware Update File Version 3.60 (PSVUPDAT.PUP) • "Psp2-updatelist" XML File (psp2-updatelist.xml) • FileZilla (latest version) • Vitamin v2.0 (or latest version) • VitaShell v1.51 (or latest version) The first part of this video I show you how to update a Sony Playstation Vita with a firmware below 3.60 to the official 3.60 (hackable) firmware. ••• (If your PS VITA is on 3.60, you can skip this part.) ••• The second part of this video I show you how to install the HENkaku exploit / hack / jailbreak using the built-in web browser, which modifies your system so that you can run unsigned code. (Game dumpers, homebrew, emulators). I also touch on how to FTP some VPK's (vita installer files) to your system so that you can install them to your home screen using molecularShell. (VitaShell seems better but more on this later) The third part of this video is how to use Vitamin 2.0 to dump/decrypt/backup your games to your memory card, and how to install and play them from your home screen, as well as a brief explanation on how to use VitaShell to transfer your backups to your computer using (the much faster than FTP) built-in "mount vita with USB" option. Make sure to hit that "Thumbs Up" you enjoyed this video or found it useful, or hit "Thumbs Down" if you hated it (or me), and hate freedom. Either way, SUBSCRIBE for more random ass videos (mostly about food!) and don't forget to share with all your ppl's n them...and also..THANKS FOR WATCHING! ..and as always PEEP GAME!:
