Nice and simple, tough and efficient, the '28-'31 Model A Ford stands the test of time. This is a check over of an engine that runs well and has good (70 psi) even compression. New gaskets were in order and a thorough internal cleaning. Valve lash was within specs at 15 thousandths of an inch.
