The Mid Hants Railway held their Pre-Spring steam gala event takes place over the weekend 17th - 19th February with a Somerset & Dorset theme. Despite the railway was originally planning to have a visiting locomotive for the gala, sadly they were unsuccessful to bring one over, however the four current operational home base fleet locos were in action on a variety of passenger and freight trains on a intensive timetable service. Locomotives in action are... London Midland & Scottish Railway 'Ivatt' class 2MT No.41312 London Midland & Scottish Railway class 5MT 'Black Five' No.45379 British Railways Standard class 4MT(2-6-0) No.76017(it first Spring gala appearances since overhaul) British Railway Standard class 9F No.92212 Filmed on Saturday 18th February 2017.
