Watch this video to learn how to curate the perfect thumbnail for your video using Final Cut Pro X specifically (can use any video editing software!) It's not rocket science, but it's worthy of sharing. Maintain your consistent Instagram theme by setting a custom thumbnail!
In short -
- select what you want as a thumbnail - either an outside shot or a screenshot from the video
- edit that shot exactly how you want it
- import that edited photo and set it as the first frame in the video - and set as short as possible
- export
- upload to Instagram - no need to select a cover - the first frame is default!
- TA DAH! Your feed's looking fresh and like a PIECE OF ART.
