On this episode of How to Drink, I’m making the cocktail the Final Ward. The Final Ward is a cocktail from the prohibition era invented at the Detroit Athletic Club and appeared in cocktail guides by 1916. For the original version, the Last Word, swap your rye for gin and your lemon for lime, it’s also incredible. Both versions are great, just depends on if you’re in the mood for gin or rye. Cheers! Final Ward Ingredients: - 1 oz or 30 ml of Rye - 1 oz or 30 ml of Chartreuse - 1 oz or 30 ml of Maraschino - 1 oz or 30 ml of Lemon Juice - Shake Shop spirits for your cocktails (Affiliate): http://bit.ly/H2Dspirits Music: The Savoy Special by Glenn Crytzer's Savoy Seven https://syncopators.bandcamp.com/album/uptown-jump Twitter: https://twitter.com/How2Drink Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/how2drink/ Blog: https://www.thisishowtodrink.com/ Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/howtodrink Gear: https://www.thisishowtodrink.com/gear Directed & Edited by: Greg Produced by: Stefano Pennisi & Greg Cinematography by: John Hudak Created by: Greg
