So you can't run to Wal-Mart or go on Amazon and buy blueprints for a bus conversion.
Not happening.
Thankfully, the combination of Youtube, Mike's on-point research skills and obsessive hyper-focus on projects have made this build possible.
We have had the school bus for five weeks now and although Mike feels like nothing has been done, I think we are on the fast track to leaving soon!
Not happening.
But, we seriously are doing great as far as time and have not hit any huge snags or obstacles just yet.
We also realized how well we bounce ideas off of each other.
Collaborating is definitely something we do well and so the build and design process have been very fulfilling.
Don't get me wrong, we have our arguments and disagreements but overall we work well together.
We both are filling up our creative tanks!
Check out what we have tackled so far and how fun (NOT) it was painting the first coat of the inside of the bus.

We did it!! We bought a school bus, our house is on the market, we are selling all of our stuff and the map is spread out on the table.
This is not a vacation. This is a lifestyle overhaul.
We are so excited to share our story and let you in on what we are doing and why!
We are wedding photographers who travel all over the world to shoot awesome couples, creating an unforgettable experience for them while telling their stories.
Being on the road full time with our son and our dog and our photography business will allow us to combine all of our passions and truly live life with intention and to Be Bold and Seek Adventure.
A video each week will NOT ONLY give you insight into the bus conversion, we ALSO want to share our travel plans (I hear Alaska is on the list!), road schooling ideas and all of the prep and research it will take to live on the road full time.
We know this is going to be a fun and amazing experience but we also know there will be challenges and lots of time spent figuring things out and adjusting to living in 175 square feet. BUT, we are making intentional decisions and making intentional choices that will prepare us and hopefully make things work the way we want them too.
Find out how I convinced Mike to face his fears and say YES to this way of living, how our friends and family reacted, what we plan on doing with the bus and how we will continue to grow our wedding photography business (and other photography projects) while traveling thousands of miles across North America.
And road schooling....how and what. And how. We got this.
