Adele STOPS 2017 Grammys George Michael Tribute Performance: "I'm sorry, I Can't."

Oh no! That didn’t just happen, did it? Yes, yes Adele it did. Adele led a touching tribute to the late George Michael, but unfortunately the performance went terribly, terribly wrong. Grammys host James Corden reminded us that not barely too months ago, on Christmas Day, the world lost a true legend, George Michael and that Adele would be leading the tribute with her own version of ‘Fastlove’. Adele started out strong, sweetly singing George’s lyrics, but less than a minute in she abruptly stopped the performance. Now, we actually don’t know which curse word the singer used, because CBS taped the show on delay, just in case a swear word slipped and it was bleeped out. But Adele was clearly upset with her performance and demanded to start the song over. And so she did - this time singing the song flawlessly. Though when she finished she was clearly mortified by her performance… The audience gave her a standing ovation, but Adele looked utterly sad. She even turned from the audience and put her hands to her face trying not to lose it on stage. Ironically, Adele messed up her Grammys performance LAST YEAR as well. While singing her hit single, ‘All I Ask,’ she was hit with audio issues and sang flat throughout her entire performance. Two years in a row…. You think she’ll be asked back for a third performance at next years show? Let us know what you thought during Adele’s performance in the comment section below.
