Fourty VDL Citea Electric buses in Eindhoven

In December 2016 fourty VDL Citea SLFA Electric buses started service in Eindhoven. The more than 18-meter-long buses will initially be deployed on busy routes, for instance to and from Eindhoven Airport and the High Tech Campus. The Citea SLFA is a brand new product only presented this summer. Bus service in Eindhoven must be fully electric in 2020. The buses are operated by bus company Hermes. Hermes is part of Connexxion Nederland, which in turn falls under parent company Transdev.
