However, the question of WHEN the boy band will reunite remains a mystery, as all the guys are doing their own personal projects. Niall himself recently released a solo single, which he performed at the 2016 AMAs. Harry Styles just signed a recording deal, and is scheduled to appear in an upcoming war film. Liam Payne is working on solo material as well, and Louis Tomlinson just welcomed a new baby boy last January. While the remaining 4 plan to reunite in the future, just don't expect Zayn Malik to have a change of heart as well. Malik's star is rising, having earned Best New Artist at the 2016 AMAs.
