A mini documentary about the lives of FSU students and faculty from 1966, who studied on Florida State University's first-ever study abroad program in Florence, Italy. The same year they started that program, Florence had the most catastrophic flood in their history, destroying thousands of manuscripts and priceless artworks. FSU students pulled up their boot straps and start helping in the Biblioteca Nazionale (National Library), the Accademia, Uffizi, etc.... they, among many other students and young people are the individuals graced with the title "Gli Angeli del Fango", translating to "Mud Angels".
