(29 Jul 2016) One day after being inaugurated as Peru's new President, Pedro Pablo Kuczynski was treated to a military parade in Lima on Friday. Thousands of members of Peru's armed forces marched past the grandstand where the new president stood taking in the spectacle. Kuczynski was elected in a June runoff by the thinnest of margins, just 41,000 votes over Keiko Fujimori, the daughter of jailed former President Alberto Fujimori.
